A daily limit
Free previews are capped at about 30 per day across the site because every video costs us real GPU time. If today's are gone, try again tomorrow.
No card needed
Sign in with Google or email and make your preview. You only pay if you want the full video.
What the full video costs
The full 8 second HD video with no watermark is $4.99. Packs bring it down: $9.90 for 3 videos or $19.90 for 10. It is a one-time payment with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
If you made a free preview, unlocking it reveals the full version of that same video right away. Every paid video also includes one free regenerate if it is not scary enough.
Why is it not fully free?
Each video is made by a large AI video model running on rented GPUs, which costs real money per second of video. A free preview lets you check the result first; the price of the full video covers that cost.
We would rather be upfront than hide the cost behind a "free" button that turns into a subscription. The free preview is real: it is made from your own photo with the same model as the paid video, so what you see is what you get, just shorter, smaller and watermarked. If you never unlock it, you never pay anything.

Payment and privacy
Payments go through Stripe Checkout, so we never see your card number. You can pay with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay where available. Each purchase is a single charge; nothing is saved for recurring billing.
Your photo is only used to make your video. It is not shown publicly, and your videos are only visible to you unless you choose to share a link. Free previews and failed or blocked videos never use up your paid videos.
Are other "free" ghost filters really free?
In-app ghost filters on TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat are free, but you have to film live, hold still and usually get a flat overlay that does not interact with you. They also cannot turn an existing photo into a video.
